The Wednesday (Friday) Weigh-In : Week #47

   

We're at 1479.1 Pounds!

     

     Traveling for the thanksgiving holiday delayed the Wednesday Weigh-In this week by a couple days.  We left on on Wednesday so there are no additions from thanksgiving or black friday.

     We have had over 8 inches of snow already and with it most outdoor activity has stopped.  Before the snow came we covered most crops and have been busy this week pulling off the snow and harvesting.  All in all it was a pretty good week.

     In total we harvested 43.4 lbs of food with 2.4 coming from the 18 eggs our chickens laid.  The remaining 41 lbs of food was all from produce.  The top producers were:

     18.7 lbs of beets  

       8.5 lbs of carrots

       5.0 lbs of mixed asian greens

       2.1 lbs of kale

       2.0 lbs of collard greens

       1.6 lbs of Brussels sprouts
