Again this week our chickens laid less eggs than normal. Two of the seven appear to be molting and probably wont lay for a few weeks. That said we still got 23 eggs. They weighed in at a total of 2.73 lbs. We've been enjoying basil and cilantro this week adding another 1.75 oz to the tally. That means were at 48.7 lbs of food produced this year! Our lettuce in the cold frame has been doing well and we will start harvesting soon.
Only 1951.3 lbs to go!

Just a thrilling project! Both amusing and profound. The photos are great and the whole concept makes my hands itch for dirt and my mouth water. Go,go,go!!!
